Many insurance plans have Out Of Network (OON) coverage. Often insurance companies offer partial reimbursement for using OON providers. If you have OON coverage with your insurance plan, you will provide payment for services and I will send you a monthly superbill. This superbill is proof of payment that you can then submit to receive partial reimbursement from your insurance company.
If you are wanting clarity about your coverage, cost, or general Mental Health coverage. you can reach your carrier by calling the Member Service phone number on the back of your insurance card. Each plan/policy is different.
Some good questions to ask:
1. Do I need a referral for mental health therapy?
2. What is my out of pocket cost for therapy? This could be co-pay, annual deductible or co-insurance.
3. Do I have a limited amount of sessions? If so, when do they reset?
4. Do I have Out Of Network Benefits? If so, how do I submit for reimbursement?

The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created, and does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment.
